The water system:
The water system is pumped from the lake via a submersible pump that is automatic. During the rainy season water is 'caught' and stored in the 2 7000 gallon tanks. The water is then pressurized throughout the property. Drinking water is filtered via ceramic filters and hot water is heated by on-demand gas heaters. Lower house:
The lower house has at its core a 12 sided [dotetrahedron] yurt shaped building. 30 feet in diameter [710sqft.] and 14.5ft. at its highest point at the glass bubble. Attached to the grand room is the kitchen [14ft. x 15ft.],upstairs from the kitchen is the master bedroom [15ft. x 12ft.] and the main bathroom [20ft. x 9ft.] is near the kitchen. Below the grand room is the lower bedroom [20ft. x 13ft.] with bathroom [10ft. x 10ft.]. Thus, a total of 1650sqft. of living space completely furnished. A large outside covered deck surrounds 8 sides of the building [120ft. x 8ft.]. Inside the grand room is a crafted fireplace, a large 6ft. x 8ft. mirror, 3 artistic doors and 4 large double windows that swing open. The designer hardwood floor is complimented by the wood ceiling. All floors and ceilings in all rooms of both houses are hardwood and the roofs are covered with asphalt shingles. Although the main room is furnished with sofa, reading chairs, dining table, etc, they can be easily moved to make the space available for many uses. (i.e., dancing, meditating, yoga, etc.) This room also has a speaker system connected to the electronics [dvd/cd/tv]. The 2 satellite dishes provide Internet and american tv. The kitchen is fully furnished with modern appliances, juicers, large refrigerator, 2 stoves and is very practical. Upper house:
The upper house has the view. The photo on the left was taken from the sofa on the deck. The living space consists of a large living room/kitchen combo [23ft. x 21ft.], the master bedroom [10ft. x 20ft.] ,the master bath [11ft. x 7.5ft.], a very large furnished porch [30ft. x 15ft.], and the lower bedroom [11.5ft. x 13.5ft.] with its bathroom [8ft. x 6ft.]. This house also has a very secure bodega [8ft. x 6ft.] for safe storage of extra items. Again, the living space and deck are completely furnished. The total living space is 1035sqft. and it's supporting deck is 450sqft.

Other buildings:
The lower land also houses the workshop [26ft. x 15ft.] with its tools and workspace [26ft. x 8 ft.]. Think of an idea and make it happen. We (The mayan workers and myself) have made practically everything in the buildings besides the buildings themselves (i.e., sofas, tables, reading chairs, lamps, curtains, screens and so on. Close by the workshop is a new building with 2 rooms, a laundry room [13ft. x 8ft.] with new appliances, and a studio [13ft. x 12ft.] that has yet to be used. Greenhouse? Art studio?
